Ent Mobile (CAD) not connecting to GPS

I actually figured it out….so theres a setting in the config file for our CAD program that tells it what to use for PGS…we have all of ours set to TCP, since is uses the Verizon jetpack’s GPS on port 11010 of the internal webpage for the unit….

Since your GPS runs on those Sierra chips, that’s assigned to a COM port, I had to change the GPS type to COM, and it fired right up.

Figured that might be helpful to you if you have any other customers that use ENTmobile for their car computer CAD software
